Production Manager
Part Time 17-20 hours
General Description
Directly manages/coordinates the Production aspects of the weekend worship experience and special events for College Park Church.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Direct and supervise all details associated with Production (Sound, lighting, video, on-screen media, stage design) of the weekend worship experience on (but not exclusively) campus and special events/classes including:
- Mix FOH for worship experiences and special events as needed.
- Program lights for all experiences and events in the worship center.
- Communicate with and direct team members and leaders to execute details of the worship experience or event as planned. (With College Park Creatives, Pastor, etc.)
- Communicate with staff as necessary.
- Provide clear and open communication between production and staff.
- Assist with the development of system updates in sound, lighting and on-screen media, stage design and video.
- Work with staff to provide consultation and technical expertise for ongoing ministry needs and events.
Manage lighting systems for worship center and lobby areas:
- Create and communicate guidelines for use of production systems.
- Provide ongoing consultation, training and support for volunteer leaders and operators of technical arts (production) systems campus-wide.
- Maintain excellent working conditions and user-friendliness of all systems.
Manage Audio Systems for worship center and lobby areas:
- Mix FOH for the weekend worship experiences.
- Provide ongoing consultation, training and support for volunteer leaders and operators of audio systems campus wide.
- Maintain excellent working conditions and user-friendliness of all systems.
Manage Video Systems for worship center:
- Maintain all video equipment for the worship experience and special events including setup.
- Provide ongoing consultation, training and support for volunteer leaders and operators of video systems.
- Edit Sunday worship experience sermon video, and make ready for approval and distribution.
Experience Needed for this Position
- 1-4 years of experience in church production or live/tour production.
- Extensive knowledge and experience on digital audio consoles including Yamaha and PreSonus mixing consoles.
- Ability to mix live audio of various musical styles.
- Knowledge and experience on basic lighting control system, consoles and fixtures (conventional, moving and LED).
- Ability to program creative lighting with understanding of lighting for video.
- Knowledge and experience on video editing software including Final Cut Pro and Premiere.
- Knowledge and experience with multiple camera systems including video and DSLR.
- Knowledge and experience on visual presentation including ProPresentor, Pro Video Player and Keynote.
- Rigging & safety standards (ETCP certified or ability to be certified).
- Ability to learn.
